Chief Officer

£30,000 per annum Pro Rata
21 hours per week

Following a successful award from the National Lottery Communities Fund, Staffordshire Sexual Health Charity are looking to appoint a Chief Officer with
inspirational qualities to lead a small team of staff and volunteers to deliver this innovative ‘Reaching Communities’ project. The Chief Officer will be expected to be involved in day to day running of the Charity.

The exciting role will have a mix of income generation, strategic leadership, operational management, and partnership working. It will be necessary to liaise with a range of other agencies including the voluntary, statutory, and private sectors and to ensure financial stability, so good communication skills and a track record of delivery are essential. SSHC makes a huge difference to the lives of those who are diagnosed with long term sexual health conditions, providing support, advice and guidance in a non-judgmental manner and addressing issues commonly associated with a sexual health diagnosis of poor mental health, loneliness and social isolation. A driving licence is essential, together with access to a vehicle.

Deputy Chief Officer

£27,500 per annum pro rata
21 hours per week

Following a successful award from the National Lottery Communities Fund, Staffordshire Sexual Health Charity are looking to appoint a Deputy Chief Officer (DCO) with specific responsibility for the business development and fundraising functions of the charity. The DCO will be expected to support the Chief Officer in the day to day running of the Charity, to deliver this innovative ‘Reaching Communities’ project.

The exciting role will have a mix of identifying new relationships, seeking out and sourcing funding, and to capitalise on new diversified sources of funding from third parties. It will be necessary to liaise with a range of other agencies from the voluntary, statutory, and private sectors and to ensure financial stability, so good communication skills are essential. SSHC makes a huge difference to the lives of those who are diagnosed with long
term sexual health conditions, providing support, advice and guidance in a non-judgmental manner and addressing issues commonly associated with a sexual health diagnosis of poor mental health, loneliness and social isolation. A driving licence is essential, together with access to a vehicle.
