We have developed a new partnership with Staffordshire Foster Carer team delivering sexual health awareness training and a bespoke session on children coming out.
We know that hate crime against LGBT people is on the rise. We know that it can be difficult to fully be yourself and work, at home or in local communities.
That why we all need allies. Being an ally is about being an active friend or support to someone else. People who aren’t LGBT can be allies to each other. If we want to live in a world where people are accepted without exception, we all need to be part of the solution. Staffordshire Buddies is an LGBT ally and proud to be. As an ally we are currently exploring how to become a third party reporting centre for hate crime.
